High density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs, providing the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. Its softness doesn't compromise firmness and support, ideal for sitting without excessive compression. The compression rating, not density, determines firmness. It is important to check the compression or ild number if you want to avoid overly hard cushions or sinking mattresses. Compression is measured by the number of pounds required to compress the foam by 25% and still have it bounce back to its original thickness. For example, a 4" thick foam requiring 33 lbs to pack it down 1" and return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb compression rating or ild - indention load deflection. All foam sheets are sold per sheet and should not be opened with a box cutter. Use a ballpoint pen or pencil for opening. The foam is durable and can last 7 to 10 years.

Medium density foam is designed for firm yet relaxable cushioning and features high-quality compression and material to withstand harsh weights for longer periods of time.

Our upholstery foam return policy does not cover fees. Items must be unused and returned in the original condition. There is a restocking fee of up to 50% after the return has been processed. Cutting machines can cut up to 96" in length, with the remainder of the piece needing to be glued together. The foam may take 1-5 days to fully expand to its original size.

Our foam is Certipur-US Certified and can be used for various projects. It is easy to customize using tools like a slicing device. It can also be glued together or layered to create the desired thickness.

Please handle your foam carefully and do not use anything sharp to open the box. Remove the foam from the shipping box to allow it to fully expand.
