High Density Upholstery Foam Cushion (Seat Replacement, Upholstery Sheet)

High Density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs, featuring the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. It is soft but still maintains its firmness and support for comfortable sitting without excessive compression. It is important to note that compression, not density, determines firmness. The compression or ILD number indicates the number of pounds required to compress a piece of foam by 25% and still have it bounce back to its original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 33 lbs. to compress it by 1" and return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb. compression rating or (ILD) - Indentation Load Deflection.

All foam sheets are sold per sheet, not per yard. It is recommended to use a ballpoint pen or a pencil instead of a box cutter to open the foam sheets to avoid damage. This high-density foam is durable and is expected to last 7 to 10 years with a 100% recovery rate.

The foam size is 1" thick, 24" wide, and 84" long, making it ideal for various applications such as oval and round poker tables, furniture cushions, boat cushions, car cushions, foam mattresses, bedding support, and other home and commercial upholstery uses. With a density of 1.8 and 44lb compression, this foam provides the perfect balance of comfort and support.
