FoamTouch offers high density foam with a compression rate of 44lbs, providing the perfect balance of cushioning and firmness. The foam maintains its softness while still offering ample support for sitting without excessive compression. The compression, not the density, is what determines the firmness of the foam. To avoid ending up with a cushion as hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when sat on, it is important to check the compression or ild number. Compression refers to the number of pounds required to compress the foam by 25% and have it return to its original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam with a 33 lb. compression rating will require 33 lbs. to compress it down to 1" and then bounce back to its full 4" thickness.

Our FoamTouch high density foam is known for its durability and can last 7 to 10 years, even under harsh weight. Proudly made in the USA, we offer high density foam with a 1.8-44lb compression rate and medium density foam with a 1.8-36lb compression rate. Please note that our foam is not fire retardant.

Our foam is sold per sheet and not per yard. When opening the package, avoid using a box cutter and instead use a ball point pen or a pencil to make a small incision and break it open from there. If you require a custom size, feel free to contact us via Amazon messaging service and we will be happy to create a custom cut for you. We can cut the foam into various shapes including rectangles, trapezoids, polygons, triangles, circles, and more. Our foam is ideal for use in poker tables, furniture cushions, car cushions, foam mattresses, bedding support, and other home and commercial upholstery applications.

Please be aware that your foam may be vacuum packed, rolled, or compressed when received. We recommend opening the package immediately to allow the foam to regain its original size and form, as leaving it unopened for longer than a week may cause it to lose its shape. It may take up to 72 hours for the foam to fully regain its original shape.
