High density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs, featuring the perfect combination of cushioning and stiffness. It is soft but still maintains firmness and support for sitting without excessive compression. Compression, not density, determines firmness. To avoid cushions that are too hard or mattresses that sink, you must check the compression or ild number. Compression refers to the number of pounds needed to compress a piece of foam by 25% and still have it bounce back to the original thickness.

All foam sheets are sold per sheet, not per yard. Do not open with a box cutter, use a ballpoint pen or pencil. The durability is 7 to 10 years.
